We need to have our time with God every day. Paul says we should desire the sincere milk of the Word and grow thereby. But he also says we can’t sustain ourselves on the milk, we must grow to study the meat. Today I want to talk about the great resources available to help us understand the meat and increase our growth.
Some of our Bible study time can be spent in studying what others have learned about the Word. God gives some special insight to teach (one of the fruits of the Spirit). Study with Christian books by Charles Stanley, Charles Swindoll, Joyce Meyer, Max Lucado or many others who God has blessed with the ability to bless you.
God’s Word is essential for our spiritual growth and productivity. Except the help God has provided to assist in your understanding and pray for wisdom and understanding from the Spirit while you study.
Games that you can play with your children that they can grasp and yet challenge you are rare. Its a lot more fun to play, though, when you feel stimulated by the contest too.

One of the first games we’re able to grasp as children is memory. It’s fun and good for the brain, Yours and your child’s. The most amazing thing I’ve found playing memory with my children and grandchildren is that they frequently win! There are not a lot of games you can play with young children that actually give them the edge. This is a great confidence booster for them, and let’s face it, our egos can take an occasional loss.
